Johnathon and I were all pumped up to photograph the super-sized moon last night. We had checked the weather forecast, watched it hourly, planned our location - which was a 45 minute drive - and even pulled out the tripod - a miracle since we both hate working with a tripod. But to our dismay, Supermoon got all dressed up then hid nervously behind the clouds. So no Supermoon... this time.
Until the next, here's one of my favorite personal images of the moon taken on the roads near Lyman Orchard in Middlefield, CT.

Sad! I was looking forward too seeing your great moon captures!!!
Yeah we were really disappointed. We even drove out in search of the moon despite the thick cloud cover just in case. Sigh.
Love the Picture. It looked like you could just reach out and touch the moon it was so big.
